About the Author
Gene McKenna was born and raised in Connecticut. After graduating from Georgetown, where he majored in English, he traveled to Japan to work as an English teacher. After his return to the USA, he went on to earn both state teaching certification and a master's degree in education. After several years teaching in the classroom, he founded Ace In-Home Tutoring, which specializes in one-on-one tutoring.Although McKenna works with students of all ages, SAT preparation has become his specialty. Having scored a perfect 800 on the verbal section of the SAT, Gene McKenna really knows what he's talking about when it comes to building a stronger vocabulary.
